How To Make Dua

September 12, 2019 by admin

Supplication is to remember God Almighty always in prosperity and adversity,
It is to take Asylum to the Creator in all affairs.
Dua is to seek help from God in all things of the world, and there are correct ways to pray.
In this article, we will inshaAllah talk about and learn how to make dua in the right way.

What is supplication?

• Allah the Almighty says: “If my servants ask you for me, I am a relative who will answer the call of the da’i, if he is called, let them respond to me and believe.”
• In Arabic, the word dua’ is derived from “da’wah”, which means remembrance of Allah SWT and pray to him.
• Aside from daily prayers, Muslims make dua to Allah SWT for forgiveness, guidance, and power throughout the day.
• Muslims can make these personal prayers, or pray in their own words, in any language.

Times and Conditions When Dua can be accepted.

As it is mentioned in the Qur’anic verse “When My servants ask you about Me, then (tell them that) I am near. I respond to the call of one when he prays to Me”.

Allah is always close to us and he hears our prayer, and there are some special moments in life when a Muslim’s prayer is especially accepted.
These appear in Islamic traditions:

1. During travel
2. During illness,
3. Visiting the patient,
4. In the last third of the night,
5. During prostration.
6. Between the adhan and iqaamah (beginning of prayer).
7. Supplication of an oppressed.
8. Dua of parents for their children.
9. On the day of Arafat.
10. The night of fate in the month of Ramadan.
11. Layla-Tul-Qadr (The night of Qadr).
12. Midnight time.
13. Dua after obligatory salah.
14. When it rains.
15. The last moments of Friday.
16. When the rooster is crowing.
17. When performing Hajj or Umrah.
18. When drinking Zum-Zum.

Etiquette of supplication

The Qur’an states that Muslims can call God while sitting, standing, or lying on their sides as in the Ayah:
“who remember Allah standing and sitting, and (lying) on their sides, and ponder on the creation of the heavens and the earth.”

However, it is advisable to be in wudoo ‘, as it is appreciated (mustahab) to pray before, during, and after prayer (Salah).

1. Supplication must be from the heart and with a lower voice.
2. Begin by Praising to Allah and His Messenger, and the majesty and magnificence of Allah SWT.
3. Repeating your dua three times.
4. Show Reverence, dread, supplication, and desire in your dua.
5. Confess guilt, mistakes, ask for forgiveness and repentance of it, and be thankful to Allah SWT for His favors.
6. Don’t be rude in your Dua.
7. When praying, you should raise your hands to your chest, as if your hands are open to receive something.

8. When you finish Dua, you may wipe your hands on their faces and bodies, but there are some doctrines that do not recommend this.

9. The certainty that only Allah SWT will respond and he can help.

10. Be Truthful in your duas, ask for something when you mean it.

In Islam, a Muslim prays only to Allah, so making dua to someone else is Shirk.

11. Tawassul in Dua.

It is the consistency in supplication.

There are many ways of Tawassul, as mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, one can mention the names of Allah or a good deed done, or a blessed time like Ramadan, or pious person, as well as making dua for a dead person.

12. Patience
Indeed haste towards respond, and impatience may cause of the rejection of the dua, and won’t be acceptable, and the person may leave making dua and will end up the despair of the response of supplication.
13. Purity
In order for Allah SWT to accept a Supplication, it must be for something pure and good. For example, if someone is going to steal something or rob a bank and make dua for that. Will not be accepted.
14. Good intentions
The person making the prayers must have the goodwill of anything he or she asks.
For example, if someone requests an increase in wealth, they should intend this increase in wealth to spend more on the poor, and on relatives.
15. Pay attention to what you are Saying.
A Muslim is asked to pray with an attentive heart. A Muslim must be aware of what he is saying and must believe in his heart that his claim will be answered by Allah.
16. Face towards that Ka’bah during the prayer and ablution if you can.
17. Raise the hands, and exaggerate in raising them, and join the fingers.
18. Call Allah SWT with his different names. (ya Rahman, ya Rabb, ya Samad, etc.)
19. Repentance.
20. Always make Dua, no matter if it is a good time, woe, prosperity or distress.
21. Pray for yourself, and for others.

It is permissible for Muslims to pray for themselves, or to ask Allah SWT for help in guiding, protecting, helping, or blessing a friend, relative, stranger, society, or even for all of humanity.

The Battle of Ajnadein

September 7, 2019 by admin

“How often has a small force vanquished a large force by the permission of Allah? And Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere.”
[Quran 2:249]

In the third week of July 634, the Muslim army marched from Busra; and the march of this army was an amazing sight-one that would earn the immediate disapproval of any regular, disciplined soldier. It had none of the appearance of a normal army. Its advance was more like the movement of a caravan than the march of a military force.

The soldiers of this army had no uniform of any kind, and there was no similarity in the dress that they wore. The men could wear anything they chose, including captured Persian and Roman robes. There were no badges of rank and no insignia to distinguish the commander from the commanded. In fact there were no officers so far as rank was concerned; officership was an appointment and not a rank. Any Muslim could join this army, and regardless of his tribal status would consider it an honour to serve in the ranks. The man fighting as a simple soldier one day could next day find himself appointed the commander of a regiment, or even a larger force. Officers were appointed to command for the battle or the campaign; and once the operation was concluded, they could well find themselves in the ranks again. The army was organised on the decimal system-a system started by the Holy Prophet at Madinah. 1 There were commanders of 10, 100 and 1,000 men, the latter corresponding to regiments. The grouping of regiments to form larger forces was flexible, varying with the situation.

Even in weapons and equipment there was no standard scale for this army. Men fought with whatever weapons they possessed, and had to find their own weapons either by purchase or by taking them from fallen foes. They could have any or all of the normally used weapons of the time-the lance, the javelin, the spear, the sword, the dagger and the bow. For armour they wore coats of mail and chain helmets. And these could be of any colour or design; in fact many of them had been taken from the Persians and the Romans. Most of the men mounted camels; those who possessed horses formed the cavalry.

One remarkable feature of the movement of this great army was that it was independent of lines of communication. Behind it stretched no line of supply, since it had no logistical base. Its food trotted along with the army; and if it ran out of meat, the men, women and children could live for weeks on a simple ration of dates and water. This army could not be cut off from its supplies, for it had no supply depots. It needed no roads for its movement, for it had no wagons and everything was carried on camels. Thus this army could go anywhere and traverse any terrain so long as there was a path over which men and animals could move. This ease of movement gave the Muslims a tremendous edge on the Romans in mobility and speed.

Although this army moved like a caravan and gave the impression of an undrilled horde, from the point of view of military security it was virtually invulnerable. The advance was led by a mobile advance guard consisting of a regiment or more. Then came the main body of the army, and this was followed by the women and children and the baggage loaded on camels. At the end of the column moved the rear guard. On long marches the horses were led; but if there was any danger of enemy interference on the march, the horses were mounted, and the cavalry thus formed would act either as the advance guard or the rear guard or move wide on a flank, depending on the direction from which the greatest danger threatened. In case of need, the entire army could vanish in an hour or so and be safe at a distance beyond terrain which no other large army could traverse. In this fashion the Muslims marched from Busra.

The route of the army has not been recorded; but it undoubtedly lay north of the Dead Sea, for the army arrived at Ajnadein before the corps of Amr bin Al Aas, who joined the army at Ajnadein. Had the army travelled south of the Dead Sea, Amr bin Al Aas, who was still at the Valley of Araba, would have been picked up en route. The army probably marched via Jarash and Jericho, then by-passed Jerusalem, which was strongly garrisoned by the Romans, and crossed the Judea Hills stretching south of Jerusalem. Beyond this range it descended into the plain of Ajnadein, arriving there on July 24. The following day Amr bin Al Aas, moving up from the Valley of Araba on the orders of Khalid, arrived at Ajnadein, and his joy knew no bounds. He had been in a state of anxiety for several weeks, expecting the Roman storm gathering at Ajnadein to break over his head any day.

Strengthen Your Willpower to Memorize the Quran

How can I Strengthen My Willpower to Memorize the Quran?

Question: Many brothers and sisters ask that “I want to be able to memorize the Quran but I find it hard to find the time, how can I strengthen my willpower so strong that I’m able to memorize Quran in a short amount of time?

Answer: So, my dear respected brothers and sisters, this is a very good question I always say that you need to plan for your life, according to the Quran, make the Quran as the center of your life.

Once you plan to memorize the Quran in five years (Maximum) and I think all of you are able to memorize the Quran in five years, even in less than that.

Make Quran Memorization Plan

We have many young students who memorized Quran online without being in any Muslim country, I know a number of people who memorized the entire Quran while they are in London in a matter of four years.
You can do that if you have a plan.
A plan over five years, then you will have a plan over a year, then you will have a monthly plan, then you have a weekly plan and then you have a daily plan.

If you have a daily plan whenever you wake up in the morning my dear respected brothers and sisters the first thing you will think of is when to read your Quran and once you have that in mind the first thing you will do after salat Al fajr is to read Quran.
Fajr time is the best time for you to read Quran and when you get used to that habit you will be able to memorize the Quran easily at that time.

There is a language barrier between many of you and the Quran and that’s why I urge all of you to familiarize yourself with the rhythm of the Quran by reading Quran loudly and frequently.

I advise you to do the following:

  1. Take short surahs of the Quran, let’s start with surah Ikhlas. take that surah and record it in a way that is repeated.
  2. Instead of many of you putting those headphones and listening to music, listen to Quran.
  3. I also advise you not to listen to the entire Quran.

Every day or every week you just listen to one surah only and that is repeated and once you listen to that you just repeat with that.
for example, you just hear Al Ikhlaas.
    Keep listening to it.
Keep repeating after it, until you are able to match the reciter.

we want to stop this recitation that is without Tajweed or correct pronunciation. we need to stop that this is not Quran that Allah revealed.
That is the reason our online Quran teacher also focus on tajweed and helping you in pronouncing letters correctly, and how are you going to learn Quran?
By just listening to it frequently at one time and keep repeating it.
Once you know how to read it properly take the other surah which Al Falaq, once you know that surah as well take the other surah and then go throughout Juz Amma (30 Juz) like this.

My dear brothers and sisters many people try this and they said that within 3 months they memorized the last juz of the Quran and their tongues and their ears became very familiar with the Quran and then they started the journey of memorizing the entire Quran.
Please do this and you will see that it is very very effective.

18 Good Deeds That Erase Bad Deeds

good deeds erase bad deeds

Good deeds that Erase or Remove your Bad deeds / Sins

Allah SWT loves humans so much, he is always waiting for his slave to come back and make taubah (repent).
In the holy Quran Allah SWT said: Say (on My behalf), “O servants of Mine who have acted recklessly against their own selves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Surely, Allah will forgive all sins. Surely, He is the One who is the Most-Forgiving, the Very-Merciful. (Zumar; 53)
Also in Surah Aal Imran: and those who, when they happen to commit a shameful act or wrong themselves, remember Allah, then, seek forgiveness for their sins -and who is there to forgive sins except Allah?-and do not persist in what they have done, knowingly. (Aal Imran: 135)
Surely, Allah does not forgive that a partner is ascribed to Him, and forgives anything short of that for whomsoever He wills. Whoever ascribes a partner to Allah has indeed gone far astray. (Nisa: 116)
So I said, Pray to your Lord for your forgiveness, – Indeed He is Very-Forgiving, (Surah Nooh: 10)
Whoever acts evil or wrongs himself, then seeks forgiveness from Allah, shall find Allah Most Forgiving, Very-Merciful. (Nisaa: 110).
Below are some of those acts who removes or wipe out your sins according to Hadith:

  1. Rememberce of Allah while listening to Adhan.

Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said; “Whoever says, when he hears the adhan: And I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, him Alone without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger: I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet. His sins will be forgiven.”(Muslim).

  2. Wudu.

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever performs ablution in an excellent manner, then his sins will depart from his body even from beneath his fingernails.”

  3. Performing Obligatory Salah / Five Prayers

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If there was a river at your door and he took a bath in it five times a day, would you notice any dirt on him?” They said, “Not a trace of dirt would be left.” The Prophet said, “That is the parable of the five prayers by which Allah removes sins.”
    Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 505, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 667

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “A man’s Salat in congregation is twenty-five times more rewarding than his Salat at home or in his shop, and that is because when he performs his Wudu’ properly and proceeds towards the mosque with the purpose of performing Salat in congregation, he does not take a step without being raised a degree (in rank) for it and having a sin remitted for it, till he enters the mosque. When he is performing Salat, the angels continue to invoke Blessings of Allah on him as long as he is in his place of worship in a state of Wudu’. They say: `O Allah! Have mercy on him! O Allah! Forgive him.’ He is deemed to be engaged in Salat as long as he waits for it.”
    [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The five (daily) prayers and from one Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and from Ramadhan to Ramadhan are expiations for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals) provided one shuns the major sins.

  4. Night Prayer and Isteghfaar / Asking for Forgiveness

Abu Huraira narrates that Allah’s Apostle said, “When it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, descends every night to the heaven of the world and says, ‘Is there anyone who invokes Me (demand anything from Me), that I may respond to his invocation; is there anyone who asks Me for something that I may give (it to) him; is there anyone who asks My forgiveness that I may forgive him?” (Sahih Al Bukhari: 8.333)

  5. Sadaqah / Charity

The afflictions caused for a man by his wife, money, children and neighbor are expiated by his prayers, fasting, charity and by enjoining (what is good) and forbidding (what is evil).

  6. Etiquette of Friday

Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“If a man takes bath on Friday, cleans himself as much as he can, oils his hair, applies perfume available in his house, sets forth for the mosque, does not separate two people (to make a seat for himself), performs as many Prayers as written [by Allah] for him, remains silent when the Imam speaks, his sins between that Friday and the following Friday will be forgiven.” (Al-Bukhari).

  7. Fast of Ramadan

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, ” Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.”

  8. Prayer of Ramadan

Whoever established prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.

  11. Fasting on 10th Muharram (‘Aashura)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Fast the Day of Ashura, for indeed I anticipate that Allah will forgive (the sins of) the year before it.”

  12. Umrah

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “(The performance of) ‘Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous ‘Umrah; and the reward of Hajj Mabrur (i.e., one accepted) is nothing but Jannah.”

    [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

  13. Hajj (Pilgrimage)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever performs Hajj (pilgrimage) and does not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commits sin, nor disputes unjustly (during Hajj), then he returns from Hajj as pure and free from sins as on the day on which his mother gave birth to him.”

    [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

  14. Standing at Arafah

‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

There is no day when God sets free more servants from Hell than the Day of ‘Arafa. He draws near, then praises them to the angels, saying: What do these want?

  15. Fasting on the day of Arafah

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah, I hope from Allah, expiates for the sins of the year before and the year after.”

  16. Fever

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) visited Umm Sa’ib (or Umm Musaiyyab) and asked her, “What ails you O Umm Sa’ib (or Umm Musaiyyab)? You are shivering.” She replied: “It is a fever, may Allah not bless it!” He said to her, “Do not revile fever, for it cleanses out the sins of the sons of Adam in the same way that a furnace removes the dirt of iron.”

    [Muslim].

  17. Diseases, Grieves, Sorrows

Abu Sa’id and abu Huraira reported that they heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Never a believer is stricken with discomfort, hardship or illness, grief or even with mental worry that his sins are not expiated for him.

    ‘A’isha reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
A believer does not undergo (the trouble) of running a thorn or more than that when Allah effaces his sins.

  18. Expiation of a Session

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Whoever sits in a gathering and indulges in useless talk and before getting up supplicates: ‘Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaika (O Allah, You are free from every imperfection; praise be to You. I testify that there is no true god except You; I ask Your Pardon and turn to You in repentance),’ he will be forgiven for (the sins he may have intentionally or unintentionally committed) in that assembly.”

6 Secret Tips on the Quran Memorization

February 3, 2019 by admin

quran memorization techniques
In this article, we will mention things that will help an aid a person to memorize the Quran and not forget it.
what are practical steps that a person can take in order to memorize the Quran and keep it with them so they don’t forget it a lot.
the following is what a person should do there

1. Consistency

a person’s consistency in reading the Quran and going over it a lot.
if a person does the revision of the Quran and keeps going over it a lot, the person will learn Quran.
Hadith How to Keep Quran memorized: the prophets صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ told us in the hadith; like the person who’s holding on to the Quran and has memorized the Quran, that it’s like a camel that is tied if the person comes back to it and ties it and makes sure that it’s there and overlooks it, then that camel would never get away from him, but if he doesn’t, he leaves it, camel walks away from it.
Another Example: If you hunted a deer today and you got the deer what would you do?
You’ll have to tie it stronger and you will always have to overlook it if it’s there. has it left, has it moved or has it in the Rope tighten? You overlook it just so it doesn’t leave.

the Quran is like that the person has to keep looking over it making sure that it doesn’t get away from him.

2. Stay Away from Sins

the second thing that helps you memorize the Quran and also to keep the Quran memorization strong is, To lessen or to stay away from sins and shortcomings and errors and going against Allah SWT and his commands.
Why? because we all know what does sin does to the blessings of Allah, they remove blessings.
Don’t they? isn’t the Quran, a blessing? Yes, the Quran is a blessing this it destroys his blessings. that’s what Allah SWT said in the Quran; that there is not a calamity that befalls you, the only reason why this calamity fell onto you is because of that, which your hands have put forward.
So calamities trials and tribulations fall on you because of sins.
So if a person is not given the Quran, what is it?
It’s a punishment. the best of speeches are not being given to you, the reason is that there are obstacles and things that are standing in the way,

3. Stay Focused

Also, the other thing that helps is staying away from being a person who’s excessively stressed. A person who is depressed, the things that make a person stressed is when they connect their heart other than Allah SWT.
Placing things like the Dunya in your heart, placing in your site the Dunya and giving so much importance to it.
it starts to stress you out and when a student of knowledge or a person is learning the Quran places other things in his way, the stress is increased and when they express stress increases and the responsibility increases, what happens then? you’re unable to memorize Quran with tajweed.
That’s what Allah says in the Quran; Allah has not placed in a person two hearts.
You can’t have one leg in the Dunya and another leg you have to memorize the Quran,
So how would you memorize Quran? when you give the whole heart to Quran memorization.
So lessen every other obstacle on the way, get rid of it.

4. Gratitude / Shukr

The other thing is increasing in asking or expressing to Allah and showing him that you are grateful for what he has done for you.
Gratitude allows you to gain more than what you have, as Allah said in the Quran; If you show the gratitude I will increase for you.
you memorize 10 surahs if you show gratitude I’ll give you another ten. you show gratitude again, I’ll give you more. Allah will increase it for you,
Ulama they said; that gratitude (Shukr) restricts holds down for you what you already have. When you hold it down with Shukr the blessing that you already have, it holds it down for you. and that what you don’t have that’s not in your possession it hunts it for you. it will go out there and bring it to you that’s what Shukr does, it allows what you have to be with you and also be for you more that you don’t have.

5. Making Supplication

also what helps the person memorize Quran online is making dua to Allah subhana wa ta’ala and asking him to increase you in knowledge.
supplicating is from the most powerful weapon the person has by asking Allah subhana wa ta’ala that he gives you the keys and opens your heart to the Quran memorization because the person hasn’t got the ability to get what is with Allah except to please Him SWT.
the Holy Prophet PBUH said that Gabriel came to me, and he blew into my soul, that there is not a person on the face of this earth, except that they’re going to eat the provision that was written for them, then the prophet PBUH said; then perfect how you try to look for your provision since it’s written for you, and then look what the Prophet said because you will not attain that which is with Allah except in a way that pleases him.
So what is it that’s with Allah? the Quran.
You won’t attain what’s with him, except him in a way that pleases him, by begging him and Allah loves subhana WA Ta’ala when his slave humbles himself, lifts his hands up Allah subhana WA Ta’ala, he loves and he will give to him.
So this is what helps memorize the Quran.

6. Revision

Imam Bukhari was once asked, one of his students came up to him and asked him, he said to Buhari; do you know anything any medication that if I take it will help with my memory?
Bukhari was the right person to ask this question to, because his memory was a miracle in the Hifz (memorization),
so he said; No, I don’t know a medication or something a person can take that if they eat, their memory would be good. He said. there’s no particular fruit or food that should be eaten that will bring your memory.
but he said I do know what can help the person’s memory and he said that is two things;
1. A Parson’s drive and will. the fact is that if the person wants this so badly and he’s putting every effort that he has.
2. The second one when the person excessively looks at this thing so much. Which is called “Revision”.
There’s not a person who’s memorized so much, except that he’s beating you with revision. so the person should do that when it comes to the Quran and as you can see the Quran was made for the hearts, the place that the Quran is meant to be in is the heart. when the Quran came down whose heart did he come down on?
It started off on the heart of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Sahaba the companion where did they memorize Quran from?
Look at the hadith when you read them that they used to say; the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم taught us. that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to teach us Istekhara, he taught us it to say the way, he taught us an ayah of the Quran.
The Companions they compared to that, that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم taught us this thing as he would teach us an ayah from the Quran, so they took it from his mouth.
Abdullah bin Mas’ud he said; I took 70 surahs from the prophet’s صلى الله عليه وسلم directly from his mouth.
Another hadith Surah Qaaf the female narrator she said I memorized surat al-Qaaf because the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to read it in the Khutbah and I memorized it from his mouth, so she went to write it that shows you from the prophet’s صلى الله عليه وسلم heart to her heart to the students of those.
So, that’s how the Quran used to be passed on.
it wasn’t in bookshelves and it wasn’t kept in on the walls and it wasn’t put into a frame.
A lot of people have ayah Kursiy on the what on the wall, but he doesn’t know it.
So the Quran was made for the heart, this is the relationship between the Quran and hearts.
so that’s where it should be in and we should always realize it’s not about a matter of writing it, it’s a matter of trying to memorize the Quran and keep it with us.
May Allah make us from the people of the Quran

Can I Learn Holy Quran by Myself ?

January 21, 2019 by admin

Can I learn holy Quran by myself

Question: Can I learn Quran by myself? Or do I need a shaykh or Quran teacher to teach me?

Answer: the short answer to this question is, No, You can’t learn Quran by yourself.
Reasons: The holy Quran is a divine book of Allah SWT, even if you’re an Arab and want to learn to read Quran with tajweed or want to understand it, you still need some authentic and expert teacher who can help you to learn Quran.
Unlike the other books, Quran is revealed by Allah SWT, it is not written by a human. Although it is not impossible to understand it.
The holy Quran is revealed on the holy prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, and for understanding it for learning Quran we need him, we need his lifestyle his interpretations of the Quran. We need to know how he recited Quran when it was revealed to him.
When we talk about the Quran we usually meant by reading Quran or understanding Quran, for both we do need a Quran teacher.

Learning Quran Reading:

The Quran is in the Arabic language and the Arabic is different than the other languages, it is a more sensitive language, if you don’t pronounce a letter correctly you are going to change the meaning of the Quran, which we don’t want to do.
so it is necessary to learn Quran and read the way it was revealed
